🌥️ We'll close out the week today with our last "cool" day for the foreseeable future, with highs in the mid 60s to near 70°. Mostly cloudy skies and dry with a breezy NW wind, though we should see a little more sun later in the day.

Turning much warmer over the weekend. Highs in the upper 70s to low 80s Saturday, then mid to upper 80s on Sunday. Can't rule out a stray shower/storm on Sunday, otherwise dry. A little taste of summer comes next week, with highs in the upper 80s to mid 90s by Tuesday and Wednesday.

Here is the latest Drought Monitor update. Severe Drought (D2) has expanded, and now includes 62% of our area. The next decent shot we have for rain (30-60% chance) will be Wednesday and Thursday of next week following several very warm to hot and sunny days.

The last month with above normal liquid precipitation at Philadelphia, Trenton, & Wilmington was July 2025. Since then, all months have experienced below normal precip, with cumulative deficits of 13.03", 14.57", & 13.13" below normal (respectively) through May 13th (just over 9 months).
