𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗢𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿💊

Ontario has approved access to 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗼𝘃𝗶® for metastatic colorectal cancer through the Funding Accelerated for Specific Treatments (FAST) program.

Since October 2025, nine cancer drugs have been accelerated for funding — helping more Ontarians receive timely access to the life‑changing treatments they need.

Congratulations to the first graduates from groundbreaking programs at Georgian College and the University of Windsor – they 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 from day one.

That’s thanks to the Ministry of Health’s work with the Ministry of Colleges, Universities, Research Excellence and Security and the nursing schools to integrate RN prescribing into undergraduate nursing education – the first program of its kind in the world.

🌟 The result: 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 for people across Ontario in a variety of settings, including:
