If you have old tires sitting in the backyard, stacked in the garage, or tucked away because you weren’t sure how to get rid of them, today is your chance.

City of West residents can dispose of old tires for free today.

Don’t miss this opportunity to clean up your property and get rid of those unwanted tires at no cost.

To help keep traffic moving safely and efficiently during the tire collection event, please follow the designated route shown in the map below.

➡️ Enter from W Pine Street
➡️ Follow the yellow arrows through the Public Works yard
➡️ Proceed to the dumpster location (marked by the red box)
➡️ Public Works staff will be available to assist with unloading tires
➡️ Continue following the arrows and exit onto Washington Street

⚠️ For everyone's safety, please drive slowly, watch for staff and other vehicles, and remain in your vehicle unless directed otherwise.

📢 Recycling & Tree Limb Drop-Off Schedule Update 📢

Due to holiday observances, Recycling and Tree Limb Drop-Off will not be held on Saturday, June 20th or Saturday, July 4th.

These services are normally available on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month, but both scheduled dates fall on holiday weekends.

The next available Recycling and Tree Limb Drop-Off date will be Saturday, July 18th.

🚧💧 WATER SERVICE NOTICE 💧🚧

👷‍♂️ City crews will be replacing a leaking fire hydrant in the area beginning at 1:00 PM today.

🏠 Residents on N. Marable and N. Davis may experience low water pressure while this work is being completed.

🔧 These repairs are necessary to help maintain and improve the reliability of our water system. Work will continue until the hydrant replacement is complete.

⚠️ Please use caution around work crews and equipment if traveling through the area.
