What an amazing way to kick off summer! โ˜€๏ธ๐ŸŽ‰

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 2026 Park Palooza at Raccoon River Park on Saturday, June 6. We loved seeing so many families, friends, and community partners come together for a fun-filled morning.

A special THANK YOU to our presenting sponsor, the West Des Moines Community Foundation. Their generous support helped us bring an exciting new attraction to this yearโ€™s eventโ€”DOCK DOGS! ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ’ฆ Spectators enjoyed watching talented canine athletes and their handlers run, jump, and make a splash in the pool.

Guests also enjoyed a variety of FREE family-friendly activities, including:

Grab your team and get ready for some fun in the sand! This adult league is non-officiated (call your own games) and includes a 7-match round-robin schedule, followed by an end-of-season tournament. Choose your level of play: Power โ€œAโ€ (most competitive) or Power โ€œCโ€ (more casual). Tuesday or Thursday leagues are available.

Coed leagues allow no more than three participants of either gender on the court at any time, regardless of team size.

We are partnering with West Des Moines Human Services for a Canned Goods Drive on Tuesday and Wednesday to help restock their pantry shelves for local families.

For every 3 unexpired, non-perishable food items you donate, you will receive a coupon for 50% off a single admission to Valley View or Holiday Aquatic Centers.

๐Ÿ“‹ The Donation Rules:
-1 Coupon for every 3 items donated.
-Maximum of 3 coupons per household/donation.
-Please ensure all food donations are unexpired and non-perishable.
