West York Fire Dept Reliance Station 1 West York Fire Dept is a volunteer and paid department working together. West York Fire belongs to West York Borough. It is 1 square mile long.

WYFD has two lader trucks and a duty buggy, they make runs to West Manchester Twp, Dover Twp, Dover Boro, York City, YAFUR, and other areas. West York Fire has 8 Career (3 full time and 5 part timers). West York Fire is to protect the people of West York Borough and save properties. West York Fire also has a code enforcement which is done by the 3 full time career guys. Volunteer staff they appar

Duty-1 is a 2003 Tahoe which is are duty wagon.

We will be having bingo on Friday Jan 30, 2026. Due to the extreme cold we will open the doors at 4:30 and begin selling at 5:00. The alley maybe icy so you may want to enter the parking lot from W Market St. Hope to see you there!

The members of Reliance Fire Compay will be holding an additional weekly cash bingo on Sunday March 23, 2025. Program and payouts will be the same as our regular Friday Night Bingo. Doors will open at 11:00am and Bingo will start at 2:00pm. All proceeds will be donated to the family of West York Borough Police Officer Andrew Duarte.
The event will be limited to 200 people on a first come first serve basis. No reservations. If you don’t want to join us for bingo you can still stop by that day to make a donation. Hope to see you there to show your support for a true Hero!
