Thank you, Voters!

See our Thank You letter to West Windsor voters in the December issue of the West Windsor & Plainsboro News.

On Nov. 5 , the voters of West Windsor overwhelmingly rejected the ballot question to change our municipal elections from “nonpartisan” to “partisan” with a resounding “No.”

Although the West Windsor Ballot question has not yet been certified, it is clear from the results that the voters of West Windsor have overwhelmingly rejected it with a resounding NO, and our election system will remain NonPartisan. We want to thank West Windsor residents for reaffirming the values of inclusivity, civility, independence, and emphasis on local issues that our system has represented for the last 32 years.

Our campaign was a true grass roots effort of residents from all backgrounds and political parties. It’s time now for our wonderful community to come together and work towards making West Windsor the very best that it can be.

Its almost comical that independents have equal opportunity in our current non-partisan system...but a key talking point for the "yes" side is that Independents can vote...you just have to change your status back and forth, etc... How does this make sense?
