📢 Urgent Environmental Alert: The Ocean's Trash Problem! 🌊🚮

* Estimates suggest that up to 80% of all marine debris, including the vast amounts of plastic, comes from land-based sources!

This month, our Flotilla's members enjoyed our annual summer cookout, one of our many group dinners that happen throughout the year.

The season's inaugural Ned's Point Lighthouse tour is TOMORROW June 21st!

The FREE tours are run by the Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 6-3 Onset Wareham Marion with fundraising efforts headed by Friends Of Ned's Point Lighthouse

Perfect for a summer family outing, this is an opportunity to climb up the 32 granite steps and and iron ladder to take in gorgeous panoramic views of Mattapoisett harbor from the top of the lighthouse all while learning about its place in local history.

Please note there are some rules:
• Children must be at least 48” tall to climb
• No bare feet or sandals without a heel strap
• Children under 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian

Water Safety Day at the Elizabeth Taber Library in Marion was a success with over 30 children coming to learn about safety out at sea!

On Saturday, the flotilla was at Atlantic Boats educating the public on boating saftey and beyond!
