Whether you're moving, downsizing, renovating, or simply making more room around the house, self-storage is a great long-term solution.

But as our customers begin storing with us, one of the questions we hear most often is how long they can safely leave their belongings in storage.

The answer, of course, depends on what you're storing. Some items—such as canned foods, bottled water, and over-the-counter medications—have natural expiration dates and can’t be stored indefinitely.
