More bounce houses. More activities. More fun!

National Night Out is getting bigger this year, and we’re adding even more for our youngest residents to enjoy.

Families can look forward to additional bounce houses, children’s activities, face painting, and a balloon artist, along with everything else happening throughout the evening.

Ever wanted to get a closer look at a first responder vehicle?

At this year’s National Night Out, residents will have the opportunity to explore West University Place first responder vehicles, sit inside them, and get an up-close look at the equipment and tools used every day to help keep West U safe.

Bring the kids, climb inside, and see what it’s like behind the wheel.

Even the best-trained, friendliest dog can react unexpectedly to a person, another animal, or something in its surroundings.

Keeping your dog securely leashed and under your control helps prevent dogs from running into the street, approaching other dogs or people, or getting into situations that could result in an injury.

West U ordinance requires dogs to be securely attached to a leash and held by a person strong enough to maintain control and prevent the dog from leaving.

A leash is a simple step that helps keep your dog, your neighbors, and everyone around you safe.

Last week, some of our West U Police Department staff had the opportunity to join residents at the West U Senior Theme Meal! ⚾️

The baseball and Houston Astros-themed event was a lot of fun. Our staff helped serve lunch, visit with residents, and enjoy the festivities.

We’re always happy to be invited and had a great time being part of the event. A big thank you to the West University Place Senior Services Department for including us!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our Coffee with a Cop this morning! We enjoyed catching up with residents, answering questions, and simply spending some time together over a cup of coffee. Events like Coffee with a Cop give us a chance to connect with the people we serve outside of a call for service.
