The first week of June looks to be rather pleasant and drier, despite rain chances today. Heat starts to build back on by Friday into the weekend with very warm temperatures in store for the weekend.

05/29/2026

High pressure will provide mainly dry and seasonable conditions across the area this weekend. A weak disturbance brings the chance for showers, and perhaps a thunderstorm, to southern portions of the area Sunday night and Monday. Otherwise, another high extends the dry, seasonable conditions well into the upcoming work week.
