That if you ever need to report any issues with the county roads, that you can do this during office hours by calling (937)-544-2943. If it is an emergency and after hours please contact the sheriffs office to report what the emergency road issue is. Have a wonderful day everyday!

UPDATE: DONE

Kirkpatrick Road will be closed Monday August 3, 2026 starting at 8:00am for a culvert replacement. The work will take place 8 tenths of a mile east of Eckmansville Rd.

The road will be closed to all thru traffic. Emergency vehicle will be permitted. Delays are to be expected.

UPDATE: DONE

Brier Ridge Road will be closed Wednesday July 29, 2026 starting at 8:30am for a culvert replacement.

The work will take place from SR 41 to Eagle Creek Road.

No thru traffic. Emergency vehicles will be permitted but delays are expected.

Churn Creek Rd. & Slate Fork Rd will be closed Wednesday, July 22, 2026, in various places for drag patching.

The work will take place from 8:00 am to 4:00pm. Emergency Vehicles will be permitted through.

Waggoner Riffle Road will be closed Monday July 20th, 2026 from 8am to 4pm for paving. The work will take place 8 tenths of a mile from SR125.

Pence Road will be closed Tuesday July 14th, 2026 from 9am-3pm for a culvert replacement. The closure will take place 100 yards from Buck Run Road.

Roads will be closed to all thru traffic.

Brier Ridge Road will be closed today July 13th, 2026 from 9am to 3pm for a culvert replacement. The closure will take place 3 tenths of a mile southeast of Old Dutch Road.

Roads will be closed to all thru traffic. Buses and Emergency vehicles will be permitted through. Delays should be expected.

Waggoners Riffle Rd. will be closed Monday, July 6, 2026, for a culvert replacement.

The work will take place 110 ft South of Beasley Fork Rd. and will begin at 8:30 a.m.

No thru traffic will be permitted until the work is complete.

UPDATE:

Whiteoak Rd. is now closed.

Nichols Ridge Rd. is done.

Monday, June 29, 2026- Nichols Ridge Rd. will be closed starting at 8:00 a.m.

Various road closures will take place over the next couple of weeks as contractors begin Asphalt Leveling.

Roads will be closed to all thru traffic. Buses and Emergency vehicles will be permitted through. Delays should be expected.

Please note all work is weather permitting.

More updates will be provided as the work continues.

UPDATE: DONE

Lick Skillet Rd. Bridge will be closed for a bridge deck replacement starting on Monday, June 15, 2026, until further notice. The location of the closure is 1.3 miles North of S.R. 52.

No thru traffic will be permitted until the work is complete.

UPDATE: DONE

UPDATE: Bentonville Rd. will be open this evening (6/9/2026) for one lane traffic and will be closed again tomorrow morning, (6/10/2026), to continue the culvert replacement.

Bentonville Rd. will be closed, Tuesday, June 9, 2026, between S.R 41 and Polk St., for a culvert replacement. The work will begin at 8:00 a.m.

No thru traffic will be permitted until the work is complete.
