Please join us in welcoming, Ms. Scott, our new Principal! A respected educator and proven leader, Ms. Scott brings more than a decade of experience, a heart for students, and a deep commitment to the Oconee community to her new role. She began her career in education in 2013 as a teacher at Blue Ridge Elementary School before serving as director of the district’s summer reading program and later moving into leadership as assistant principal at Keowee Elementary School in 2020 and principal in 2023. A longtime Oconee County resident for twenty-eight years and proud mother of five children, including three graduates of Seneca High School, Ms. Scott earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Clemson University and a Master’s degree in Administration from Southern Wesleyan University, while also completing multiple leadership programs through the South Carolina Department of Education. Our staff had the opportunity to meet her today, and we are looking forward to introducing you all to her as well. Let’s give a big Walhalla Welcome to Ms. Scott!
