Needle Felting for beginners ages 12-adult
On Thursday Sept 3rd at 4pm, Laura H will be teaching beginner needle felting. Supplies will be available.

This class is for ages 12 to adult and class size is limited, please email or call to register.

Needle felting is a creative and relaxing craft where fibers, usually wool, are sculpted into beautiful designs by repeatedly poking them with a special barbed needle. The needle catches the fibers and tangles them together, causing the wool to felt and form solid shapes. This technique can be used to create anything from animals and flowers to abstract art. It’s a perfect way to unwind and make personalized, handcrafted items.

Aerial Yoga Series For Teens/Tweens
Calling all teens and tweens! Join us outside at the West Tisbury Library this summer for an amazing aerial yoga class series with Jen DeLorenzo! This program will be offered on August 18th, 25th and September 1st – beginning at 10:30 am.

Aerial Yoga with Jen DeLorenzo is an invitation for teens (12+) to experience yoga in suspended silk yoga hammocks. When we play with gravity (and anti-gravity) something amazing happens – we see the world in a new way – upside down or right side up. The aerial silks used in Aerial Yoga offer more space than traditional yoga in supporting and freeing the body and mind to do things that may surprise!

Registration, along with a waiver (signature with the library) is required, and class space is limited. Individuals may sign up for one or more classes.

This class is run outdoors, please dress for the weather, bring water and wear sunscreen. Inclement weather causes us to cancel class, so be sure to check weather and email if the forecast calls for less than ideal weather.

We are currently looking for new diapers sizes 5 and 6 to be donated to the library! Our children's room provides free emergency diapers to folks that need one, but we are low on sizes 5 or 6. If you have extras please consider donating them to us. Thank you!
