Looking for something fun to do on a Wednesday night? How about a Quarter Auction for a great cause? It takes place tomorrow (June 19) at 6:00 p.m. at the Amvets Post 12 Chicopee Ma in Chicopee.

CHD's MaryAnne's Kids is a special fund that helps provide children and teens in foster care the means to pursue special interests in music, dance, arts, sports, summer camps and other extracurricular activities—opportunities that are often unavailable to many without support.

In 1972, four revolutionaries gathered around a kitchen table to change the way we approach mental health care. For five decades, they and their legacy—the Center for Human Development (CHD)—have provided compassionate care and support to people in need from all walks of life across western Massachusetts and Connecticut.

Now, on CHD’s fiftieth anniversary, our nearly 2,000 skilled professional caregivers are proud to unveil a new look and promise for our organization, which has long stood strong at the heart of our community’s social safety net, and joined hands with thousands of people and families to find a way toward better lives.

At CHD, we believe there has never been a better time to ensure that all members of our community have a fair chance at opportunity. At CHD, we work tirelessly to empower people and communities with skills and resources to become self-sufficient and strong. At CHD, we see value, talent and inspiration in all people, no matter what struggle or toil they’re working through today.

Check out some of the auction items for MaryAnne’s Kids 20th Anniversary Celebration on June 16. Yes, that’s a signed Al Horford jersey!
