Facts!

When I represent the 142nd Assembly District, I will always work with the municipalities in the district, Buffalo, Lackawanna, West Seneca, Town of Orchard Park, and Village of Orchard Pak, when they are in financial difficulties. However, they must tell the truth to their residents, and this chart from Mayor Ryan’s office does not do that.

The chart is deceptive and insulting to taxpayers. I will get into both of those issues over the next few days.

Goal #2 - KEEP RESIDENTS' TOWN TAX INCREASES AT ZERO ✅

The amount of town tax that West Seneca residents paid in 2025 was the same as they paid in 2020.* This was achieved by a combination of a close monitoring of spending, controlling personnel costs, and steady economic development.

It's actually amazing how much you can save when decisions are not driven by politics.

In Albany I will treat state taxpayers' money with the same care I treated town taxpayers' money.

*Town taxes are taxes paid by every property owner in West Seneca for town services. They are the sum of the General Town Tax and the Highway Tax lines. The only way they would have changed from 2020 to 2025 is if the property owner had an exemption change or did something like put on an addition.
