Over the last two days, the Suffolk Detectives Association, alongside the PBA and SOA, visited the 1st and 4th Precincts with the food truck and BBQ for all members.

We were proud to spend time with the men and women who serve our communities with professionalism and dedication every day. These events are a small token of appreciation for all the hard work being done throughout our department.

Thank you to all of our members at the 1st and 4th Precincts for everything you do. We look forward to visiting the next command soon!

This Memorial Day Weekend, the Suffolk Detectives Association pauses to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

Their courage, dedication, and selfless commitment to protecting our freedoms will never be forgotten. As we spend time with family and friends this weekend, we ask everyone to take a moment to reflect on the true meaning of Memorial Day and remember those who gave everything for this nation.

We also extend our gratitude to all veterans and active military members for their continued service and sacrifice.

From all of us at the Suffolk Detectives Association, we wish everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day Weekend.

The Suffolk Detectives Association, alongside the Suffolk County PBA and Suffolk County Superior Officers Association, stopped by the 2nd Precinct today with the food truck and fired up the grill for everyone working the command.

We truly appreciate the hard work, dedication, and sacrifices our members make every single day serving the people of Suffolk County. We hope everyone enjoyed the BBQ and had a chance to take a well-deserved break.

We’re looking forward to bringing the food truck and visiting the next command soon!

Today, the Suffolk County Detectives Association proudly recognizes and honors all of the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve in our United States Armed Forces.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the members of our department and association who answered the call to serve our nation before serving our community. Your courage, sacrifice, dedication, and commitment to protecting the freedoms we enjoy will never go unnoticed.

On Armed Forces Day, we thank all past and present service members for their unwavering patriotism and selfless service to this country. We are forever grateful for the sacrifices made by you and your families.

The Suffolk County Detectives Association was honored to attend the Candlelight Vigil in Washington, D.C. during National Police Week, standing alongside law enforcement officers, survivors, and supporters from across the nation to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

As the names of our fallen heroes were read aloud beneath the lights of the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial, we were reminded that their courage, sacrifice, and dedication to protecting others will never be forgotten.

Tonight, we honor their legacy, support their families, and reaffirm our commitment to always remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to their communities and this country.

The Suffolk Detectives Association was proud to take part in Family Day at Police Headquarters — a day dedicated to recognizing not only the men and women who serve, but also the families who stand beside them every step of the way.

Behind every detective and police officer is a support system that sacrifices time, holidays, missed dinners, late nights, and countless moments together so we can continue serving and protecting our communities. Family Day is a reminder that this job is not done alone. The strength of our department comes from the unwavering support of our spouses, children, parents, and loved ones who make sacrifices right alongside us.

Today was about bringing everyone together, celebrating those bonds, and showing appreciation for the families who help make this profession possible. From all of us at the Suffolk Detectives Association, thank you to every family member who continues to support the badge and the mission behind it.

Your sacrifices never go unnoticed.

Today, the Suffolk County Detectives Association, along with our department, honored the memory of the 30 Suffolk County Police Officers who gave their lives in the line of duty.

These heroes made the ultimate sacrifice while serving and protecting the people of Suffolk County. Their bravery, dedication, and commitment to this department and community will never be forgotten.

We proudly remember their legacy and stand in support of the families, friends, and fellow officers who continue to carry their memory forward each and every day.
