West Point Public Schools is a small public school system located in the Town of West Point, Virginia. The division consists of approximately 722 students K-12. West Point Public Schools is the first school division in the nation to launch the Apple Invest for Learning program. West Point Public Schools is also home of the Pointer Pathway Program which enables a student to earn an associate's degree while obtaining an Advanced Studies High School diploma.

☀️📚 Summer Learning Adventures are coming to West Point Public Schools!

Beginning June 8, selected students (by invitation only) will participate in Summer Camp Academy: Retreat into Reading.

Unlike a traditional summer school program, Summer Camp Academy combines:
✨ Engaging literacy instruction
🔬 Hands-on science experiences
🎨 Enrichment activities
📖 A shared reading adventure with The Islanders by Mary Alice Monroe

Students will also enjoy exciting learning opportunities with our partners at the Wildlife Center of Virginia and the Virginia Living Museum.

A big thank you to the West Point Rotary Club for sending our 2nd graders home with life jackets last week!

Earlier this year, our 2nd graders learned how to swim, and now they have an extra tool to help keep them safe in and around the water. What a great way to support our students and our community.
