February is National Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention Month.

Teen dating violence (TDV) affects millions of teens in the United States – about 1 in 12 high school students have experienced physical or sexual dating violence. Survivors of teen dating violence are more likely to suffer from symptoms of depression, anxiety, and trauma. Experiencing an unhealthy or abusive relationship as a teen can increase a young person’s risk of facing violence in intimate relationships throughout their lives.

We owe it to young men and women to educate them about healthy relationships and how to identify and leave unhealthy/abusive ones.

For your convenience and in an effort to increase patient satisfaction, Keller Army Community Hospital added a ScriptCenter prescription refill pick-up kiosk in the main lobby.

The ScriptCenter kiosk provides a secure and safe pickup of refill prescriptions, will decrease congestion and wait times in the pharmacy area, and will allow for pharmaceutical pickup after the pharmacy has closed.

Using the ScriptCenter is as easy as 1–2–3:

1. Order your refills by call in the number on your prescription bottle (845-938-2527).

2. Select ScriptCenter as your location.

3. Pickup refills after 2 duty days.

Bring you military ID card when using the ScriptCenter, and remember to bring you prescription number the first time you pick up from Keller’s ScriptCenter.

More information on the ScriptCenter can be found at https://newsroom.tricare.mil/News/TRICARE-News/Article/2594809/scriptcenter-kiosks-offer-easy-prescription-pick-up

The Keller Pharmacy and ScriptCenter kiosk can only hold prescriptions for 10 calendar days. After 10 calendar days, any medications that have been filled, but not picked up, will be returned to stock. If this happens, you can contact the pharmacy to have the prescription re-processed.
