Today, the Patrouille de France conducted a flyover of West Point as part of their national goodwill tour across the United States in commemoration of our Nation’s 250th birthday.

Featuring eight Dassault Alpha Jets and one Airbus A400M, the flyover honored more than two centuries of friendship between France and the United States, a bond forged during the American Revolution and strengthened through generations of military cooperation, shared sacrifice and enduring partnership.

Coordinated through the French military attaché to the U.S. Military Academy, the flyover was part of the team's planned transit down the Hudson River to New York City, where commemorative flights recognize the historic ties between the two nations, including France’s gift of the Statue of Liberty to the American people.

The visit underscored the longstanding relationship between the U.S. and French armed forces and military academies and their shared commitment to developing future military leaders.

Don’t build the Batmobile.

West Point just graduated the next generation of Army leaders. They’ll make decisions about the weapons, systems, and strategies that will ensure America wins.

Palmer Luckey came to West Point to talk to them directly. His rule: build what can actually be manufactured, funded, and fielded at scale. Brilliance that can’t be deployed is just ego.

The next Inside West Point: Ideas That Impact episode with Anduril Industries founder Palmer Luckey is out now!
