West Point Public Schools - Nebraska West Point Public Schools is a public school system in rural Nebraska serving the communities of West Point.

West Point Public Schools is a Class III School District located in Northeast Nebraska. West Point has a unique educational process in that there are three parochial school systems within the district. The demographics of the West Point School District have changed substantially in the past decade with a steady increase in the number of minority students and also students who qualify for free/redu

ced meals. To meet the needs of our changing demographics, the district currently provides ELL instruction and reading intervention programs to qualified students. School-wide Title I programs are provided at West Point Elementary School and Beemer Elementary School. An alternative education program is available at the high school. College credit courses are available for high school school students. The West Point Public Schools also has a comphrehensive special education program. West Point Public Schools continuously strive to provide a top quality education for all students.

Two ’90s classics and a classroom full of critics! 🎬🍿

The reviews are in! ⭐️ Our 7th & 8th grade students in Mrs. Penrose’s class put their movie critic skills to the test after watching the 1995 films Jumanji and Clueless.

Students wrote their own reviews, gave their movie a rating, shared their feedback, and then presented their critiques to the class! Great work!

This week, each West Point-Beemer Cadets Football senior wrote a personal thank-you to a teacher who has made a difference in their life as a student. They delivered their notes along with a photo pin for their teacher to wear at the game tonight, where we will celebrate Teacher Appreciation Night!

We’re proud to recognize the teachers who support, encourage, challenge, and believe in our Cadets both on and off the field. Thank you, teachers, for the impact you make every day!

Our school will be holding Health Screenings on Tuesday, September 15th and Wednesday, September 16th and we’re looking for helping hands! We could use 3-4 people each day.

⏰ Hours: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM Each Day (even partial availability is welcome!)
