Palm Beach County PAL

Palm Beach County PAL PAL provides free recreation and education programs to the youth of Palm Beach County via PBSO

The Police Athletic League program is based on the conviction that young people; if they are reached early enough; can develop strong positive attitudes towards police officers in their journey through life toward the goal of maturity and good citizenship. The PAL program brings youth under the supervision and constructive influence of law enforcement and expands public awareness about the role of

a law enforcement in their communities. Part of that role is the reinforcement of the responsible values and attitudes instilled in young people by their parents. Studies have shown that is a young person respects a police officer on the ball field, gym or classroom, the youth will likely come to respect the laws that police officers enforce. Such respect is beneficial to the youth, the police officer, the neighborhood and the business community.

Thank you to the Hanley Foundation for spending time with our youth! Through engaging discussions and activities, participants learned about the effects of alcohol and the importance of making positive choices. We appreciate the opportunity to help our youth build the knowledge and skills needed to make informed decisions.

🎓 Congratulations to two of our BMX Team Captains on their 2026 graduation from Palm Beach County high schools!

👏 Lucas Roman is continuing his education at PBSC as he works toward his goal of becoming a Palm Beach County firefighter.

👏 Roman Gomez is continuing his college career as he pursues his dream of becoming an FBI Special Agent.

These two young men have been outstanding leaders, role models, and representatives of our team both on and off the track. We are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished and can’t wait to see what they achieve in this next chapter of their lives.

Wishing you both success and continued greatness in everything ahead. Once a part of the PBC PAL BMX family, always a part of the family!
