For 92-year-old Army Veteran Ron Singer, photography is not simply a hobby. It is, as he put it, “life.”

When his longtime camera stopped working, a search for a replacement led to an unexpected connection: a camera once owned by a fellow Army Veteran found a new home with Singer.

Now, Grumpy is back behind the lens capturing "the moments you don’t always remember.”

At the National Veterans Golden Age Games, West Palm Beach VA Veterans proved resilience doesn't retire. Swapping training tips, cheering each other on, and rediscovering purpose along the way. One competed with his wife as his coach and caregiver. Another said yes after seeing a friend's medal haul and thinking, "I want that."
