Thanksgiving Basket season is officially here!

Every year, Friends of Foster Children has the privilege of helping families across Palm Beach County gather around the table for a Thanksgiving meal, and we need our community to help make it possible!

We’ll provide the turkey, and YOU can help fill a basket with all the fixings! From stuffing and mashed potatoes to cranberry sauce and pie, each basket helps a local family celebrate Thanksgiving with a full table and the reminder that their community cares.

September is National Kinship Care Month! A time to recognize the relatives and loved ones who step forward to provide children with a place to call home.

For one young girl, that safe place was with her grandparents. Through an incredibly difficult season, they opened their home and their hearts, and Friends of Foster Children’s Kinship Navigation Program was there to help their family navigate the journey.

What an incredible night at Culinary Clash! We’re so grateful for the amazing community partnership with Oceana Coffee and Culinary Studio for the opportunity to be part of such a fun event!

A huge congratulations to our chef, Chef Cesar, who took home the People’s Choice Award! While we didn’t progress to the next round, we couldn’t be prouder of him and his incredible work representing Friends of Foster Children.

Sometimes the most meaningful thing you can give someone is the feeling that they are no longer alone.

Robert was caring for his grandchild when he found Friends of Foster Children.

His words say more than we ever could:

“Thank you for being so patient — you were the only one who really helped me with my grandchild.”

There are grandparents and relatives throughout Palm Beach County who step up for children they love, sometimes changing their entire lives overnight.

For nearly 40 years, Friends of Foster Children has been here to step up beside them.

Our $40 for 40 Years campaign has a goal of raising $40,000 so that support can continue.
