In March, in recognition of Women's History Month, the Circuit celebrates the contributions of the women of the world and the contributions that women have made in this Circuit. We recognize the women who currently sit on the bench, their dedication to the law and the administration of justice for the Fifteenth Circuit community.

Of the Circuit's 53 judges, 28 are women and of the 9 magistrates, 7 are women.

Guests will hear from a distinguished group of panelists, including one of our former attorneys, Judge Danielle A. Sherriff! The cost is $25 and lunch will be provided.

Judge Keathan Frink, Administrative Judge for the 17th Judicial Circuit’s Circuit Civil Division, traveled this week to West Palm Beach to present newly-appointed Circuit Court Judge Danielle A. Sherriff of the 15th Judicial Circuit with a newly minted courtroom nameplate. Judge Frink made the presentation in his role as the Fourth District Court of Appeal representative for the Conference of Circuit Court Judges. Congratulations, Judge Sherriff on your appointment to the bench!

Definitely a full circle moment. Having served as a prosecutor for over 13 years, it was truly an honor to swear-in the new class of Assistant State Attorneys for the 15th Judicial Circuit. I wish them all rewarding and successful careers!

Due to the forecasted impact of inclement weather from Hurricane Milton, all Palm Beach County Courthouses will be CLOSED on Wednesday, October 9 and Thursday, October 10.

First Appearance will occur on both days at 10 A.M. at Gun Club.

Courthouses are also closed on Friday, October 11 in observance of Yom Kippur. First Appearance on October 11 will occur at 9 A.M. at Gun Club.

There will be no court events on Monday, October 14, other than First Appearance at 10 A.M., as the Court is holding an in-house training.

Normal operations and court events will resume on Tuesday, October 15.

Thank you to The Florida Bar Leadership Academy for inviting me to serve as a panelist for the "From Bar Engagement to the Bench" session. Sharing how Bar service shaped my journey to becoming a judge was a pleasure. It was also great to connect with my Class III alums.
