Please help us welcome the 2026 summer judicial interns and law clerks to the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit!

On Monday, June 1, the group had their official introduction to the Circuit, which included orientation, software training and a courthouse tour.

On Friday, June 5, the group paid a visit to our Gun Club location for First Appearance with Judge Lourdes Casanova and a tour of the jail.

For the next several weeks, the interns and law clerks will have the opportunity to shadow judges, take field trips and sit in on panel discussions.

On May 28, the Honorable Marni Bryson welcomed a group of 7th grade students from Rosarian Academy to her courtroom. During their visit to the courthouse, the students were able to enjoy a K9 demonstration, as well as observe a trial presided over by Judge Scott Suskauer.

The Honorable Carolyn Bell is lending her expertise to 100 attorneys attending the Florida Bar Trial Lawyers Advanced Trial Advocacy course program, which is being held May 26-30 at the St. Thomas University College of Law in Miami, Florida.

On May 27, Judge Bell gave a presentation on professionalism as a part of the four-day program, which provides trial lawyers the tools to hone their litigation skills through lectures, discussions and demonstrations.

Congratulations to the Honorable Bradley Harper who received the Jurist of the Year award by the North County Section of the Palm Beach County Bar Association during their awards dinner on May 21.

Judge Harper was elected to the County Court bench in 2016 and was elevated to the Circuit Court bench in 2021. Judge Harper is currently assigned to the Juvenile Division.

Join us in welcoming Magistrate Allison Kapner to the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit!🎉

On Tuesday afternoon, we held the swearing-in ceremony for Magistrate Kapner, who began her role with the Circuit in February 2026. ⚖️

Many family members, friends, fellow Magistrates, judges and Court Administration staff were present to help celebrate. One of those special guests was Magistrate Kapner's father, retired Judge and former Chief Judge Lewis Kapner.

During the ceremony, Administrative Magistrate Maxine Williams provided remarks, Chief Judge Glenn Kelley administered the oath and Magistrate Kapner reflected on her journey, expressing gratitude for those who have supported her along the way.

Yesterday we took time to recognize and celebrate jurors in honor of Juror Appreciation Day, in collaboration with the Palm Beach County Bar Association, Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller, Palm Beach County and American Board of Trial Advocates - Palm Beach Chapter/ABOTA.

Jurors were able to enjoy coffee and breakfast pastries as Chief Judge Glenn Kelley, Judge Sherri Collins, Judge Cymonie Rowe, Clerk Mike Caruso and attorney Andrew Kwan were all present to express gratitude for those who appeared to perform their civic duty.

Jurors play a vital role in helping to uphold the rule of law and protect constitutional rights.
