🎯 Train hard. Respond with confidence.

Our officers are currently participating in active shooter response training, working through realistic scenarios that test teamwork, communication, and decision-making under pressure.

Every scenario presents new challenges. Every repetition builds confidence. Every lesson strengthens readiness. πŸš”πŸ’ͺ

πŸš‘πŸ€ Training and partnerships go hand in hand.

Sgt. Diana Hayes recently provided CPR, AED, and Stop the Bleed training to faculty from the FAU College of Business in collaboration with the FAU Police Department.

Working alongside our local law enforcement partners helps strengthen relationships and ensures more people are prepared to respond when emergencies happen.

Thank you to the FAU Police Department for their partnership and collaboration. πŸ‘

πŸ₯‹ Excellence is earned one training session at a time. πŸ’«

Officer Larry Laureano has been leading defensive tactics training, helping our officers stay sharp, confident, and prepared for the year ahead. Through hands-on instruction and practical techniques, officers are sharpening skills that help keep them ready for whatever comes their way.

Training doesn't take a summer break.πŸ’ͺ

πŸ’™ Some goodbyes carry a little extra meaning.

Today, we recognize Officer McCoy and Officer Duran as they close an important chapter and begin a well earned retirement.

For years, they have been a steady presence in the lives of countless students, staff members, and fellow officers. Their impact reaches far beyond the schools they served and will continue to be felt for years to come.

A career in law enforcement is measured by much more than years of service. It's measured by the people you've helped, the relationships you've built, and the difference you've made along the way. Officer McCoy and Officer Duran leave behind a legacy that reflects all three.

Congratulations on your retirement!

πŸ’™πŸš” The next chapter starts now.

Thank you for allowing us to be part of your school year. From the first day to the last bell, it has been our privilege to be there for you every step of the way.

Stay safe, and have a fantastic summer! β˜€οΈπŸ˜Ž

πŸ’™ A career measured not just in years, but in lives touched.

After more than 40 years in law enforcement between the NYPD and Palm Beach County School Police, Officer James β€œJim” Antanacio has made an impact that stretches far beyond the badge.

As he prepares for retirement, former Cypress Trails Elementary students (now middle schoolers) took a moment to make a video with well wishes for their favorite Officer. Their smiles, and messages are a testament to the relationships he built throughout the years.

Thank you, Officer Jim, for the countless lives you’ve influenced, the example you’ve set, and the care you’ve shown to generations of students.

Wishing you a happy and well-earned retirement. πŸ’™πŸ‘
