Twenty-five years ago, our nation stood still. We watched, we wept, and in the darkest of moments, we witnessed the very best of humanity. Neighbors helping neighbors, first responders running toward danger, and communities coming together in ways that would forever change how we see one another.

Today, as we gather to remember, we honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost and the countless families forever changed. We remember the firefighters, police officers, and everyday heroes who gave everything. We remember the resilience of a nation that refused to be broken.

As a mother, I think of the world we are building for our children. One where courage, compassion, and unity are not just memories of a single tragic day, but values we carry forward every single day. As a community, West Orange, the home of this Essex County landmark has always shown up for one another, and that spirit is the truest tribute we can offer those we lost.

Never forget. Always remember. Forever grateful for those who serve and sacrifice for us all.

When I opened Campaign HQ, I had a vision. Not just an office - a community hub. A place where neighbors could walk in, register to vote, get real answers on municipal services, and join workshops that actually help.

That's the West Orange Advantage in action: we meet people where they are. We Protect what matters, Strengthen what works, Promote what's possible, and Expand opportunity for everyone.

This is what it looks like, neighbors walking through our doors, picking up information, registering to vote, becoming part of the movement. This is West Orange, moving FORWARD. Together.

Who said Labor Day is a day off? The West Orange Advantage reminds me why I’m running for mayor.

Not because it’s a day off, but because the teachers, small business owners, town workers, and families who show up every day are the ones building the West Orange Advantage. That work doesn’t pause for a holiday — and neither do I.

Here’s to the workers who built this town, and the work we still have ahead.
