🌟 National Community Action Month – Weatherization Wednesday 🌟

The Weatherization Assistance Program efficiently retrofits below standard low-income home, greatly improving residents' utility costs and health outcomes.

OCCAA’s Weatherization Program helps households improve energy efficiency, health, and safety—while reducing the cost of living.

On average, participating families save $300–$400 annually on utility expenses. Beyond cost savings, weatherization supports healthier homes by improving ventilation, reducing exposure to outdoor allergens, helping prevent moisture and mold issues, and ensuring essential safety measures like smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are in place and functioning.

Together, these improvements create safer, more comfortable homes and a stronger, more resilient community. 💙
