The FREED Peoples

The FREED Peoples We seek to actively build power and bring communities of color to the decision-making table.

Our network is working on a range of public policy issues that impact our Michigan communities, including social, racial and environmental injustices as they affect education, health, housing, social services and basic human rights. The organization is a collaborative of grassroots individuals helping through education, advocacy, and electoral goals, ensuring that the Michigan government and cand

idates work for our communities. The FREED Peoples has a connected PAC to support candidates for local, state, and eventually federal governmental offices who reflect the values, interests, and intersectional priorities of the Black, Indigenous, Latino/a/x and communities of color of Michigan.
