Our goal is to open a fun, affordable, family-friendly, fantasy themed park on our more than 100-acre parcel of land in scenic West Newfield, Maine. We plan to start with a professional quality 2-acre airsoft/paintball field, enhanced with fun and unique obstacles (abandoned cars, mock buildings, barrels, hideaways, and more) to create an exciting field of combat. As revenue grows and becomes avai
lable, we plan to expand to include more unique and fun activities that will bring the real meaning to Vacationland! Future expansions include (in no particular order):
1. The Lonely Mountain: An indoor mountain shaped Pavilion which will host a variety of family friendly fun events (from local concerts and dances, to conventions and guest speakers)
4. A working Farm with petting Zoo and Animal Sanctuary (featuring exotic and rescued animals and wildlife; we will also have an animal sponsorship program which will provide sponsors with unique opportunities and ways to keep informed about their sponsored friend, such as: behind the scenes tours, updated photos and more)
5. Mini-Golf, both indoor and outdoor
6. Choose Your Own Adventure Disc Golf (Travel through the forest battling orcs, trolls, wolves and more- disc golf style! Choose the right path on your adventure to reveal extra fun!)
7. Indoor Arcade and Games Area, a blast from the past!
8. Picnic Area available for family and company outings
9. Fishing Pond, including paddle boats and a sectioned-off swimming/diving area (you never know what sunken treasures may lay below the waters surface)
10. A real Hobbit-styled village, with houses to rent for a weekend of fun (and of course, this is where our main residence will be located)
11. A small Medieval styled village, with tiny shops and eateries to explore
12. A unique and fun Museum, featuring movie memorabilia and more
13. A Private Train ride to transport visitors around the park
14. Reproductions of our favorite fantasy streets and locations to walk through and explore (take a stroll down Baker Street and stop for tea with the legendary Sherlock Holmes, skip down the Yellow Brick Road, explore Main Street in Storybrook and take a look around Mr. Gold's shop, to name just a few...)
15. Possibility to consider adding amusement rides in the future
16. Camping area that will eventually include a children's outdoor play area, and recreational tennis and basketball courts
17. Picturesque hiking and bike trails that will be enhanced with fun, fantasy-styled items to explore (giant spiders webs, elven tree houses, and treasure-filled troll caves), providing a unique adventure for the whole family
18. An open field area will be used for hosting seasonal outdoor festivals/fairs/concerts; we hope to have something new and fun available every weekend. and much, much more! This will be quite the undertaking for us as we seek both permission for all that we wish to do and revenue to help fund our endeavor. We have faith that God will provide and lead us.
