The **I-20 Career & Opportunity Expo** brings employers, workforce partners, education and training resources, and job seekers together in one place to help you explore what comes next.

Whether you are actively searching for a job, considering a new career path, entering the workforce, or simply interested in learning about opportunities available across Northeast Louisiana, you are encouraged to attend.

What You’ll Find at the Expo:

Meet directly with employers representing a variety of industries and career fields. Learn about current and upcoming job openings, explore career pathways, and connect with organizations that can help you strengthen your skills and prepare for your next move.

Attendees can also access career and résumé assistance, learn about training and educational opportunities, and speak face-to-face with employers who are looking for talent.

Some employers may be prepared to conduct interviews or begin the hiring conversation during the event.

To make the most of the Expo, we encourage attendees to:

* Bring several copies of your résumé
* Dress professionally
* Be ready to introduce yourself and talk about your skills and experience

Today, we had the privilege of saying thank you to the men and women who serve our community every day. 🇺🇸

In recognition of the 25th anniversary of September 11, our Chamber, community partners and volunteers came together for our annual First Responders Appreciation Day, packing and distributing more than 500 to-go lunches for local first responders.

This tradition is only possible because of the generosity of our sponsors and the many volunteers who gave their time to help make it happen. We are incredibly grateful to JTB Rentals LLC, Plunk’s Wrecker Service, Johnny's Pizza House, Living Well Foundation, graphicpackaginginternational, Entergy Louisiana, City of West Monroe, Newk's Eatery, Brookshire's, AT&T, JAC's Craft Smokehouse, Walmart, Cooper Veterinary Hospital, Inc., pinchapennypool, Lazenby & Associates, Brentwood Hospital, Ouachita Parish Schools and Jay Morris, with a special thanks to Dan Blakeney.

The City of West Monroe is now hiring!

We are seeking an experienced IT professional with strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills who can effectively manage multiple systems, projects and priorities. This position plays an important role in ensuring the City’s technology remains secure, reliable, and responsive to the needs of employees and the community.

This position will provide leadership and direction for the City’s Information Technology Department, overseeing daily IT operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity, technology projects, and staff. The IT Director will also evaluate the City’s technology needs, manage the help desk, coordinate with departments, prepare progress and budget reports, and build strong relationships with outside vendors.
