Good evening, Marines and Shipmates,

Our next Marine Corps League meeting is scheduled for 17700 on March 12th at the Amvets building in Monroe This is a critical and must attend type meeting; I ask that you mark your calendars to be there.

We’ve been operating as a fire team under the Shreveport Detachment for over a year, and it’s time we establish our own Northeast Detachment. To do so, we need 20 members - we’re not there yet. We’ve accomplished some solid things in our local community, supported one another, and built new relationships over the past year but it’s time to take off.

Please bring $40 (cash or check) for membership dues and, if possible, a copy of your DD-214. Let’s come together, make this happen. I hope you agree that it’s been too long that we talked and discussed the reestablishment our legacy Northeast Detachment - it’s time we make it happen. Please help pass the word to as many local Marines as possible. Also, please confirm your intent to attend.

Introduce any new members to the MCL and discuss what makes us different from everyone else
Pass along any Information received from National Midwinter and La state meeting
Discuss how we can support the Alexandria Fireteam and the 250 Birthday Celebration they are planning
