🚗 ATTENTION WEST MILWAUKEE RESIDENTS & BUSINESS OWNERS

The Village of West Milwaukee has special parking regulations in place for the American Family Field Event Area and the Congested Commuter Residential Area.

We understand that these regulations can impact residents and employees of local businesses, particularly businesses that do not have sufficient off-street parking.

To help address this issue, the Village offers a Congested Parking Permit.

📍 Who can qualify?
At the discretion of the Chief of Police, local businesses and residents located within either designated area may obtain parking permits for events at the Stadium.

📋 Important information:

* Permits are intended for residents and employees of businesses in the immediate area.
* All other posted parking regulations and restrictions must still be followed.
* A permit does not guarantee or reserve a parking space.
* Unauthorized use of a permit may result in the revocation of the permit.

Residents and business owners located within the affected areas that may need parking accommodations are encouraged to speak with a Clerk at the West Milwaukee Police Department for more information.

Is there construction happening near you? You might spot pieces of fabric underneath the storm drains on a street. When it rains, dirt from construction sites can be picked up via runoff and flow into local waterways, causing harmful sediment pollution. To prevent debris from entering storm drains, mechanisms such as temporary fabric filters are placed under storm drains during construction projects. These fabric filters will be removed once construction is complete.

Supervisor Sky Z. Capriolo joined us at the B**r Garden last Thursday!

Hear what she and Supervisor Kathleen Vincent discuss at a town hall meeting to discuss the 2027 Milwaukee County Budget.

This meeting will be held at Zablocki Park Pavilion on Wednesday, September 23 starting at 6:00pm.

The Village would like to thank everyone who came out to the B**r Garden last night. The weather was not ideal and did not cooperate. However, people brought umbrellas, canopies, blankets, covered strollers, and stood under trees trying not to get wet. Huge shout out to:
Kris & Dani Crow who keep up people's spirts and sounded great.
North Pillar Brewing Co for pouring yummy beers.
Orenda Food truck for serving delicious plates of food; if you missed them, check them out in the Menards parking lot.
Gussie the Clown who was there twisting balloons with lights in them! The snake was super cool.
Rescue Gang who brought Willa, Petunia, and Scooter; go check those cuties out.

Thank you to the Village of West Milwaukee President John Stalewski, John Ragonese, and staff. We will start working on next year's plans that doesn't include toxic smoke or rain.

Leaves are rich in nutrients including phosphorus, nitrogen, and potassium. When leaves are left on top of storm drains, these nutrients leach out into stormwater runoff, creating ‘phosphorus tea’. Storm drains then transport the nutrient heavy water directly into our rivers and lakes, often causing unwanted algae blooms that harm aquatic ecosystems and interfere with outdoor recreational activities. Stop brewing phosphorus tea by keeping storm drains clear of leaves this fall.
