📢ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS: Village of West Milton – New Floor System at Fire Department within Village Hall Bid

🚒Sealed Bids for the removal and repair of approximately 6,700 square feet of epoxy coating within the Fire Station within Village Hall at 701 S. Miami Street, West Milton, OH 45383 and replacement with a new epoxy or polyurea basecoat with a polyaspartic top coat product.

📩Sealed bids for this project will be accepted until September 21st, 2026 @ 11:30 AM at the Village Hall, 701 S. Miami Street, West Milton, Ohio 45383, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Last night the Village Council met and discussed the following items:

1️⃣Proclaimed 9/25 (9 to 5) as Dolly Day in the Village of West Milton!
2️⃣Discussed and approved:
▪️CM-26-53 - Reso - Adoption of a Village Strategic Plan
▪️CM-26-54 - Reso - Contract with Strange Design for Branding
▪️CM-26-55 - Reso - OPWC Application for Jay Street Utilities
▪️CM-26-56 - Reso - Contract with McPheron Masonry for signs
▪️CM-26-57 - Reso - Approve PDP for Stillwater Crossings-South
▪️CM-26-58 - Reso - Contract amendment with COLLABO
3️⃣Heard updates on the following items:
▪️Comprehensive Plan / Zoning Code update
▪️2027 Budget process update
▪️Potential Events - Halloween walk with a movie and Longest Table
▪️9/11 Event at Union Township at 7pm on Friday
▪️Final push for the Comp Plan Community Survey
4️⃣Heard numerous public comments about the Village's sidewalk program and concerns with how and where it is implemented. Future discussion on the sidewalk program and potential updates to it, will be part of the September 22 Village Council Workshop.

📢The Village Office will be closed on Tuesday September 1st.

🗑️All trash services will continue and not be changed but the office will be closed for a day project update.

📩Both drop boxes are always available to be utilized for payment drop off and online payments will be accepted. The office will return to normal operating hours on Wednesday 9/2.
