West Milford Family Pump Track Family Bicycle Pump Track This is a Family Bicycle Pump Track on a municipal athletic field complex. There were many other people too, too many too list in fact.

More: With West Milford Economic Development Committee support and volunteer labor by JORBA and Team Town Cycle volunteers (in August-September 2012), this project was a true town-wide team effort . With local riders shaping dirt, and political support supplied by WM EDC and many township officials (council and mayor) this project is nearing completion and we are preparing for a Grand Opening cele

bration on 21 October 2012 from 12pm-4pm. Please note that this couldn't have happened without support by Councilman Mike Ramaglia, Eric and Henry of West Milford Engineering, Gerry at DPW, and WM Recreation. Thank you everyone that was a part of this. In addition a generous donation of excavating equipment by Sean Rice Excavating was in no small part vital and we cannot thank Sean enough for his use of machines. Jim Dellavalle and Paul Bechtel of McClane and Associates were responsible for the design and fielding endless questions on build best practices. Please support your local Family Pump Track. Its important to note that ongoing support will be through our sponsors, continued by township officials, council and mayor, and you, the riding community. Pump Track peeps, I apologize for the tall grass at the track. My schedule and mother nature have not been collaborating well enough to allow me to get up there to mow. I’m hoping next Saturday will be a perfect mowing day. Until then, please bare with me and if you are a hobby w**dwhacker, feel free to bring up your w**dwhacker and cut up some of the track -Jay

I need your help. I tore a ligament in my knee and I’m unable to handle mowing the Pump Track for the time being. If you can bring your Weedwhacker to the Pump Track and just hit whatever you can that would be greatly appreciated, the dirt and rocks and drainage seem fine. It’s just the overgrowth of vegetation because of the amount of rain that we’ve had needs to be addressed. Thank you all in advance. I appreciate everyone in the Pump Track community.- Jay
