🖤Remembering September 11💛

Today, I join our community and our nation in remembering the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the heroes who showed incredible courage on September 11, 2001.

As the mayor, I am reminded of how fortunate we are to call West Milford home. We have a community filled with people who care, neighbors who help one another, and so much to be grateful for.

Today 25 years later September 11 reminds us how fragile life can be and how important it is to make kindness, compassion, and being a good neighbor part of our everyday lives.

May we always remember not only the tragedy of that day, but also the unity, courage, and compassion it brought out in so many.

Reminder: Our September 11 Remembrance Ceremony will be held tonight at 7:00 p.m. at Town Hall. I hope you will join us as we come together to remember and honor this important day.

Let’s come together to keep West Milford beautiful, clean and green! 💚

Join us on Saturday, October 3rd, from 8:30 AM–11:00 AM, rain or shine, for our Autumn Pride Roadside Litter Clean Up & Picnic!

🧤 Volunteers are needed!
Supplies are provided, and you can sign up and pick up your supplies at the WM DPW Recycling Office, 30 Lycosky Drive, beginning September 8th.

📍 After the cleanup, volunteers are invited to Bubbling Springs Pavilion from 11 AM–1 PM for food, games, giveaways and great music! 🎶🍔

Every bag of litter collected makes a difference. Grab a friend, bring the family, and help us take pride in the place we call home! 🍁💚

📢 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony

On September 11, we pause as a community to remember the lives lost, honor the heroes who answered the call, and reflect on the courage, compassion, and unity that carried our nation through one of its darkest days.

We invite the West Milford community to come together for an evening of remembrance, reflection, and gratitude. It is an opportunity to honor those we lost, recognize the sacrifices of so many, and ensure that their stories and their legacy are never forgotten.
