Yesterday, our community lost an amazing person, Lou Rose Sr. An army veteran, firefighter, police officer, and EMT. He was always a wealth of knowledge. He served on our department for 7 years, holding multiple positions including President and was a member on our truck committee, helping design Engine 1. He was always eager to help out the younger members, and was like the fun uncle we all wish we had. He had the kindest soul, always lighting up the room wherever he went. We give our condolences to his family in these troubling times. He fought his battle the only way he knew how, head on, and with all his might. Rest easy now brother, we’ve got it from here.
