Please join VFW Post 914 and the Steel Valley Firefighter's Association (SVFFA) again this year as we continue to remember the events that shook our nation on 9-11-01. The event will once again be held at Mitchell Paige Park on Homeville Road on Monday Sept 11, 2023 at 6pm.

Honored Guest presenter will be WMAHS Air Force JROTC Instructor SMSgt Otis DiCerbo.

There will be Refreshments provided by the SVFFA.

We had another outstanding Memorial Day ceremony today. This one was at Lebanon Cemetary. Allegheny County Councilman Macey was the guest speaker, and we got to spend some time with our favorite WW2 Marine, Mr. Earl Birdy!

Boy Scouts 1111 once again did a great job with the Pledge of Allegiance. Thank you to all that were able to attend!

We had another outstanding Memorial Day ceremony this morning. The weather was perfect, and community turnout was great! SMSgt Otis DiCerbo did a great job as the honored speaker. West Mifflin Air Force JROTC presented colors, and Cub Scout Pack 31 of West Mifflin did an awesome job with the Pledge of Allegiance!

Thank you everyone that attended. We look forward to seeing you at the next ceremony on Monday at 10am at Lebanon Presbyterian Church Cemetery!

Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 914 'Intrepid' West Mifflin was proud to place holiday wreaths at ST Nicholas Russian Orthodox cemetery located off of Sylvania St in the Bellwood section of West Mifflin. The West Mifflin Air Force JROTC once again did an amazing job presenting the colors!
