Recently, friends and family gathered to celebrate our 8th grade students as they marked an important milestone on their educational journey. During the promotion ceremony, students received certificates recognizing the completion of middle school, and several students were honored with awards for academic achievement.

Congratulations to the Class of 2030. We look forward to welcoming you to the high school next year and wish you a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable summer.

Poetry, smiles, and sunshine made for a wonderful afternoon at our First Grade Poetry Performance.

Students proudly recited some of the poems they have been working on throughout the year for friends and family in attendance, showcasing their creativity, confidence, and growing skills as writers and readers.

After the performance, students enjoyed Millie’s Homemade Ice Cream, generously provided by the PTSA.

Thank you to the PTSA for the sweet treat and to the families who joined us to celebrate our young poets.

Congratulations to Nathan Fleming, the first recipient of the Mr. Jim Comunale Scholarship!

Created through funds raised by the WMAMS SAVE Promise Club and Student Activities during this year’s annual Color Run, the scholarship honors the legacy of Mr. Jimmy Comunale by supporting graduating seniors pursuing careers in the trades and continuing to master their craft after high school.

Nathan was selected for his strong work ethic, passion, accountability, and the positive impact he has made within the school community. These are the very qualities that Mr. C would have been proud to see carried forward. Congratulations, Nathan, and best wishes as you continue building your future!

Creeks, critters, science, and even a live snake? Sounds like a great day for our Titans!

Students from Honors Biology attended the Creek Connections Student Research Symposium to share their projects about animals that live in and around local creek ecosystems. Members of the Environmental Club, who help test Thompson Run each month, also joined in for a day focused on water quality, wildlife, and environmental science.

Students heard from Three Rivers Waterkeeper, explored tables hosted by science and environmental organizations, viewed research projects from students across southwestern Pennsylvania, and wrapped up the day with hands-on workshops on fishing, deer populations, stream assessment, and wildlife rehabilitation.

For many students, the highlight was getting up close with a live snake from Interactive Environmental Programs!
