Stop by the Book Nook to stock up on your summer reading!

School is out for summer!!

Spending time relaxing, reading stories and staying cool is here. One of our favorite children's books is, The Miraculous Journey Of Edward Tulane by Kate DiCamillo. The story of a china doll bunny whose vain behaviors are challenged after he finds himself lost. Through many adventures and misadventures he learns what it means to love and be loved in return.

What is your favorite children's story? Let us know in the comments. (-:

Ode to Poe
By L.G. Paws

Once upon a midday cheery,
while I ponder Top Dog theory.
Over many a quaint and forgotten lore,
that might be found at our bookstore.

This poem is dedicated to, The Book Nook, at West Linn Library and all the cherished patrons who peruse our shelves.
