Safety for our employees is always our number one priority. Today, Kentucky Electric Cooperatives safety coordinator provided instruction and hands on training for self rescue from a bucket truck. Like many things, we hope this training is never needed but in the event of a fire, mechanical issue etc., our lineman can self rescue and get to safety.

Update—Pole change has been completed. Thank you for your patience.

Licking Valley RECC crews will be changing out a pole on Caskey Fork after lunch today across from the Bear Branch entrance. This will require 2-3 hours of power interruption on most of Caskey Fork. Please try to avoid this area so crews can work safely and efficiently.
