Help Build What Comes Next.

The West Lafayette Police Department is hiring.

We're looking for individuals who are committed to service, professionalism, and continuous improvement. At WLPD, officers have opportunities to lead, protect, investigate, innovate, and help shape the future of a growing department.

As we build our new Public Safety Center and prepare for the next chapter, we're looking for professionals who want to contribute to that future from the ground up.

If you're looking for a career that will challenge you, develop you, and allow you to make an impact, we encourage you to apply.

Special Note: Our next testing session will be held on Tuesday, July 14. Interested candidates should submit their applications as soon as possible.

💚As Mental Health Awareness Month comes to a close, we want to remind our community that mental health matters every day—not just in May. 💚

Taking care of your mental well-being is an ongoing journey, and it’s okay to ask for help, take a break, and prioritize yourself. Whether it’s checking in on a friend, practicing self-care, or reaching out for support, small steps can make a big difference.

You are not alone and help is available 24/7 by contacting 988 or the local mobile response teams - Haven (765-270-4363) and NAMI's MCRU (765-447-8494).

Let’s continue to support one another and break the stigma—today and every day.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Deputy Samuelson, his family, and the La Porte County Sheriff's Office during this incredibly difficult time.

Please keep Deputy Samuelson in your prayers.
