Our Donuts 🍩 with Grown-Ups event seems to grow a little bigger every year! Thank you to everyone who came out and supported our first community event of the year! It was wonderful to see so many families in the building, connect with one another, and welcome everyone back to another school year.

This summer, over 25 of our dedicated teachers and staff members at Ascent Academies of Utah had the incredible opportunity to attend Confratute at The Renzulli Center for Creativity, Gifted Education, and Talent Development at the University of Connecticut (UConn). They returned with a wealth of knowledge and innovative strategies to enhance our teaching practices. Our commitment to ongoing professional development ensures that we provide our students with the educational advantages that set us apart from the competition.

As an award-winning, tuition-free public charter school, we believe in the power of continuous learning—both for our educators and our students. And yes, we might have had a little fun along the way because we know that learning can be enjoyable too!

Our West Valley campus is hosting free summer lunch for children 18 and under. Menus can be found on our lunch page of our website.

Lunch Service Only - M-F from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM
CLOSED - July 4th and July 24th

Please enter the West Valley Ascent gym through the front school doors, pass through the double doors, and follow the signs.

Seating is available in the gym. Please stay in the gym - no wandering.

Children aged 0-18 are eligible for free meals. NOT LIMITED TO ASCENT STUDENTS. Adults who wish to purchase a meal must pay $4 in cash.

🎉 Big News! 🎉 Yesterday, The Utah Lunch Debt Relief (UTLDR) organization made a heartwarming donation to Ascent Academies of Utah, clearing the school lunch debt for all 5 Ascent campuses! 🍽️💖

Mr. Hoopes, the principal from our West Valley campus, proudly accepted a generous check from DJ Bracken, Executive Director of UTLDR, totaling $2,300. This amazing support comes at a crucial time for many families in Utah who are facing financial hardships. With a staggering $2.8M in school lunch debt statewide, UTLDR is committed to lifting this burden so families can focus on what truly matters: their children’s education and well-being.
