Starting tomorrow, June 1st, at 11:30 am, our community's youth can benefit from the Lunch and Learn program, at 230 Cemetery Rd unless noted below, running every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday until August 7th, 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. Each session will begin with a free lunch and conclude with a STEAM activity.

Monday's Lunch is Walking Tacos, Cilantro Rice, Carrots, and Watermelon. Then we will break into groups for STEAM~stations.

Tuesday's Lunch is Grilled Chicken with Fettuccine Alfredo, Steamed Broccoli and a Fruit Cup. COSI will be joining us for a fun afternoon of hands on learning!

Thursday's lunch is Cheeseburgers or Nuggets, French Fries, Ednemame, and Mandarin Oranges. A huge shout out to Holowicki Enterprises McDonald's for donating this lunch! After eating we will head outside to tie-dye. This will be fun but can be messy, so come dressed appropriately.

Calling all car enthusiasts! Get your ride ready and join us for Friday Night Uptown's annual Car Show and Children's Chalk Art Contest on June 12th! With live music from 3C Highway and Yours For The Taking, and mouth-watering options from Shake It Up Lemonades , The Dirty Fizz , Mother Truckin Tasty Food Truck , L-Town Pizza Cones, 3 FLAME BBQ , JD’S Farmhouse Cafe & Creamery, and Tynee’s Sweet Parlor LLC, you'll want to bring the whole family! Join us for a summer of STEAM learning and free lunches, featuring COSI's EiPiC program and curriculums like ABC The Building Blocks of Computer Science, Math Camp-In Camp Summit, and Cut-Out for Computer Science. Our opening day promises excitement with multiple STEAM stations. Other program highlights include a thrilling puppet show, a unique Father's Day card activity, and 4 STEAM career demonstrations. Mark your calendars for June 1st to August 6th and join us every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 11:30am to 1:00pm. Please arrive promptly at 11:30am to make the most of our time. This program is designed for individuals under 18 years old and does not require pre-registration. Caregivers can choose to stay or drop off their child, as long as the child can meet their own needs. Sessions are primarily held at The West Jefferson Community Center (230 Cemetery Rd), with some noted activities taking place off-site. Dive into the fun, pool season has arrived! If the weather behaves, we'll be opening our gates at Noon on Saturday May 23rd. Take a look at our special pool hours for the 26th-29th on the flyer below. We've got two new diving boards ready for your cannonballs and belly flops. Our concession stand is serving up some refreshing new drinks and snacks to keep you going.

The program will feature COSI's EiPiC program every Tuesday, complemented by ABC The Building Blocks of Computer Science, Cut Out for Computer Science, and Math Camp-In Camp Summit curriculums.
