We still remember.

Thousands of men and women lost their lives, in the actions of others. Yet, so many saved, in the heroic endeavors of strangers, coworkers, and first responders.

Let us share in moments of silence. For the thousands loss on September 11th, 2001.

* 8:46 AM: American Airlines Flight 11 crashes into the North Tower of the World Trade Center

* 9:03 AM: United Airlines Flight 175 crashes into the South Tower of the World Trade Center

* 9:37 AM: American Airlines Flight 77 crashes into the Pentagon

* 10:02 AM: United Flight 93 crashes in a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania

Our demonstrations for the life safety house are:

- Today (Saturday): 3, 5, 7
- Sunday: 2,4,6
- Monday: 1, 3

Jefferson Township Fire Department is happy to be apart of the Ox Roast again this year. We will have a safe house trailer on site over the weekend and we will be conducting fire and home safety demonstrations for the kids over the weekend. The safe house provides an opportunity to discuss home escape planning, kitchen and cooking safety, electrical safety and how to escape from a simulated smoke environment. This will be a fun and educational experience for the kids in our community. We hope you stop by to see us this weekend during the following demonstration times:
Saturday at 3:00, 5:00 and 7:00
Sunday at 2:00, 4:00, and 6:00
Still working on a Monday schedule and we will update it soon. Thank you.

When every second counts.

All JTFD personnel have their State of Ohio Firefighter II credentials. While in fire school, and JTFD orientation, donning your full gear and being “on air” under 2minutes must be successfully completed.

Including:
-Hood
-Bunker pants, boots & suspenders
-Bunker coat
-SCBA pack
-SCBA mask
-Helmet
-Gloves

Friendly competition is encouraged. We work hard to better ourselves and each other.
