Westwood High School is launching a fundraising campaign to purchase new chairs for our gymnasium, and we invite you to be part of this exciting improvement!

For a donation of $225, you can sponsor a new gym chair. As a thank-you for your support, your name (or the name of your family, business, or organization) will be displayed on a recognition wall honoring those who helped make this project possible.

New gym chairs will enhance the experience for students, families, and community members attending athletic events, concerts, graduations, and other school activities. In addition, the current gym chairs will not go to waste. They will be relocated to Aspen Ridge, where they will continue to serve students, families, and guests at events held there.

Congratulations to Shelly Whitaker as our new Head Cheer Coach! Mrs. Whitaker was hired last night at our June Board Meeting. Go Patriots!

We would like to give a big welcome to Blake Hewitt! He was hired this evening as our new Athletic Director. Mr. Hewitt returns to his high school alma mater after graduating from and working for Michigan Tech, and working at St. Norbert College. Go Patriots!

Our students begin summer break at the end of our half-day today. Classes will resume on Tuesday, September 8. Have a great summer!
