Just a few hours ago, we responded to this working fire on Cornell Avenue. Thank you to our members and mutual aid partners for quick work.

1.5 story, 20 x 20 detached garage that auto exposed to the garage next door with minor char. Minor exposure to the residential structure. Minor exposure to the commercial structure in the rear.

Two firefighters suffered minor injuries due to a combustion of items within the garage that contained magnesium. They were treated on scene and got back to work on scene.

Right NOW!

Eastbound Southern State Parkway at Exit 17 Hempstead Avenue is finally re-opened after this 5 car crash involving an overturned vehicle with 1 person entrapped.

Two red tag patients were transported, one by Lakeview 4181, the other by our MOU partner Northwell EMS aka 4182.
