A Heart Overflowing with Gratitude 💙
As we reflect on this beautiful holiday season, our hearts are filled with overwhelming gratitude for the extraordinary outpouring of love shown to the children and staff of The Children's Home.
To our United Charities Champions, surrounding communities, churches, faithful friends, dedicated board members, and generous business owners – you have made this Christmas season nothing short of miraculous for our precious children.
From the moment wish lists were shared, you answered every call with breathtaking generosity. Even when our kiddos wished for the stars themselves, somehow – through your love and determination – those stars were delivered! You provided everything from snacks and meals (so many wonderful meals!) to bringing in a chef for a special breakfast, to catered Christmas dinners that filled our home with warmth and joy.
The looks on our children's faces Christmas morning were absolutely priceless – gifts beyond imagination surrounded them, each one wrapped in love and the message that they matter, they are valued, and they are worthy of the very best.
But your generosity extended far beyond presents under the tree. You gave our kiddos the gift of experiences – shopping trips, an overnight adventure to Kalahari, and precious memories that will last a lifetime. Your thoughtful gifts of movie passes and Netflix subscriptions mean Christmas continues long into the new year, bringing joy and normalcy to children who deserve every moment of happiness.
Most importantly, through your love and support, you've helped our children understand something profound: they are SOMEBODY. They are loved. They are deserving. They matter deeply to this community.

Our children are among the most vulnerable in our community, and you have wrapped them in a blanket of love, dignity, and hope. You've shown them that they have a community that stands with them, believes in them, and will never stop fighting for their futures.
We are blessed beyond measure. Our home is blessed. Our children are blessed. And it is all because of YOU.
Thank you for being the hands and feet of love in action. Thank you for making this holiday season one our children will treasure forever. Thank you for reminding them – and us – what it truly means to be a community.
