What is your vision for the future of West Haven? Over the next year, the City Department of Planning & Development will be asking you to reflect on West Haven today and to envision its future into the next 5-10 years. The purpose is to update the City’s 2017 Plan of Conservation & Development (POCD). A POCD is a guidance document that establishes a long-term vision for the future of a community. It contains goals, policies, and recommendations for investing in the physical, economic, social, and environmental aspects of a community in accordance with that vision.
