West Haven Animal Shelter

West Haven Animal Shelter The West Haven Animal Shelter is part of the West Haven Police Department's Animal Control Division in CT. next door to the West Haven Public Works Garage.

The West Haven Animal Shelter is conveniently located at 7 Collis St. The West Haven Animal Control Divison Officers are given the responsibility of enforcing all local and state laws pertaining to the welfare, control, and safe handling of animals. Through this responsibility the Animal Control Division investigates animal related complaints including nuisance calls, abandoned animals, sick or injured animals, and animals in unfavorable living conditions. The Animal Control Division also cares for animals who are waiting to be adopted. The Animal Control Division is supervised by Sgt. Mark Gado. This unit is staffed by Animal Control Officer's Nikki Stancarone, Lorna Hallett, Morgan Ruggiero, and Shannon Rose.

REUNITED! West Haven maltipoo, Little Bear, is home. The owner was driving around & ran into kids that her little cousin hangs with. Next thing she knew, a little girl brought him to her door !!! Welcome home little guy!

Missing in West Haven. This cute little male Maltipoo went missing from the Coleman St. area. He was wearing a doggie diaper at the time. He's chipped but not wearing a collar. If seen, please do NOT chase. Instead, call the # on the flyer asap with details of where and when you saw him and what direction he was headed. If you live in the area and have home security cameras, please check them periodically for him. Thanks
